Have you ever felt so worried or stressed that it made you sick? It's like you wanted to throw up, but couldn't. It's like you wanted to cry, but couldn't. Well, that's exactly what I felt today. My day was very crabby. But that's okay because days like today define and strengthen my character. After reading through a plethora of posts all over FB, I realized that I was not the only one suffering the negative effects of a crabby day. My enemy, the one who fights me from day to day, definitely tried to bring me down, but did not succeed. I was reminded of how much we need each other to go through the many rough patches that we'll face. Even though some people achieved their goals on their own, someone must have impacted their lives in such a way that it propelled them to reach for the sky and grab a star or two. Regardless of your profession or walk of life, always remember that you can be that person for someone. You can be the reason for them to become successful or to hang on one more day. Sometimes these people feel they have nothing to live for and feel alone, almost as if the world is against them. "How much pain does it take to see it? To live my life and love like I mean it" is a line of one of my favorite songs because it speaks to all of us. Sometimes it can take much for us to understand the reason for living, the purpose of our existence. Again, we all experience something different but we need each other. Don't let your pride disrupt or break your friendships and relationships with people close to you. Maybe people weren't always there for you, but if you allow the people who care about you come into your life, you can begin to see the real you, the person you were created to become. In fact, "You are more than the choices that you've made... than the problems you create, YOU'VE BEEN REMADE." It is always a humbling experience to let someone be there for you. We all need a rock to lean on for support during our most trying times in lfe, as well as rejoice with us when we succeed. My rock is the one that fights for and with me everyday and everyday I ask him, "PLEASE DON'T LET ME GO." I let my rock be there for and with me as I went through my crabby day. He came to my rescue and now I will let him bless me with some rest to reenergize my batteries to keep me going. As my rock, he has blessed me with some very beautiful gems to ensure that I become the person he created me to be. He uses those gems to "light up the sky to show me" he is with me. I love you and God bless you always BEAUTIFUL.Song lyric references: 1. "Like I Mean It" by When Stars Go Dim 2. "You Are More" by Tenth Avenue North 3. "Please Don't Let Me Go" by Group 1 Crew 4.
